According to the Kaballah, the Jewish esoteric wisdom, God created the world with the energy contained in the Hebrew letters. That is why I have used them in this triptych. On each side of the canvases are the handwritten texts of the days each depict, both in Hebrew and in English, as written in the Bible. The background of these canvases is done with a cross-hatching technique: numerous layers of little x's, each layer in a different color, allowing for all colors to bleed through for the final effect.
